The story “The Boy Named Crow” that was excerpted from “Kafka on the Shore” by Haruki Murakami, that is from Japan, was about Kafka and Crow’s interactions talking about Kafka’s plan to run away. Crow keeps interrogating him about what he have in mind and gave an advice to him that fate is something that you cannot escape and that he should be strong in order to face it and Kafka did put this advice in heart.               Murakami’s “The Boy Named Crow” communicates to us people whom have this thoughts in the back of our mind. He wants us to see that we do can run away but we need to keep in mind the consequences, running away is just a temporary solution in our problems and that in the long run we will forced to face it again and again until we surely solved it because it is something we cannot escape from.            I always asked, why does life has to be so hard? Why do I have to experience struggles and problems? And when will this problem

Review of Dead Stars Paz Marquez Benitez wrote Dead Star in the 90's that's all about a forbidden love of a man to another woman. The story is all about Alfredo Salazar which was engaged with Esperanza, but one day, he met Julia Salas, an ideal maria clara. Most men were attracted to Julia and Alfredo was also inlove with her. but due to his family's reputatiom, Alfredo continued the marriage with Esperanza. Many years later, Julia and Alfredo met again but his feelings for Julia is now like a dead star. The story is now appropriate today. There are lots of men that is inlove not only in one woman, but to two. But those men are intelligent enough to handle it.

Review of Fray Botod

Review of Fray Botod GracianomLopez Jaena made Fray Botod when he was just 18 years old in the year 1874. Fray Botod focuses on a Priest known as Ano, and for that time, Fray Botod means Big Fat-Bellied. Feminism is present in th story where the young girls wer being pushed to do works. On the other hand, Marxist criticism was also present because Ano overused his power in terms of torturing and humiliating young girls in public. Fray Botod is a satire because Jaena used different words that stated the unequal distribution of rights that time.
